Who I Am
I’m Rick — founder of MIA Trading Academy. I live in Miami, work in sales, and trade futures. I’m not a guru pretending trading made life perfect overnight. I’m a normal person who wanted less financial stress, more freedom, and a more comfortable life.
What I Wanted From Trading
My goal was simple: live comfortably, travel the world, provide for my family, invest for the future, and build more income without trading taking over my life.
Trading Fits Around My Life
I still keep the sales job I enjoy while trading a focused 15–30 minute session in the morning. Trading helped me grow my income, build five-figure months, and create more freedom without getting in the way of the life I already had.

Why I Built MIA
I built MIA to help traders stop guessing and strategy hopping, keep trading simple, see the process applied live, and build the discipline, mindset, and consistency needed to improve.
